Boiler repair

No heat, short cycling, lockouts, and ignition faults on gas, propane, and oil boilers.

  • Ignition & control faults
  • Circulator pump failures
  • Zone valve diagnostics
  • Safety control testing

Replacement & upgrades

Including conversions to modern high-efficiency condensing boilers.

  • High-efficiency conversions

Emergency calls

No heat in a cold snap is an emergency, and we treat it as one.

Emergency service
Smell gas, or see water actively spraying from the boiler? Leave the building, call your gas utility's emergency line from outside, then call us. For a steady drip rather than a spray, shut the water feed to the boiler and call — that one can wait for a technician.

How a boiler call works

Call or book online

Tell us the make, roughly how old it is, and what it's doing. Hydronic parts aren't generic — this saves a trip.

On-site diagnosis

We check combustion, pressure, the expansion tank, pumps, and controls before naming a cause.

Upfront quote

You approve the price before work starts, with an honest repair-versus-replace comparison on older units.

Heat restored

Most repairs finish the same visit. Replacements are scheduled as fast as equipment allows.

FAQ

Common questions

What's the difference between a boiler and a furnace?
A furnace heats air and blows it through ducts. A boiler heats water and circulates it through radiators, baseboards, or in-floor tubing. Boiler heat is quieter and more even, with no forced air moving dust around, but the systems are different enough that not every HVAC company services both. We do.
How long does a boiler last?
Well-maintained boilers commonly run 15 to 30 years, considerably longer than a typical furnace. Annual service is a large part of why, since scale, corrosion, and pressure problems do their damage slowly.
My radiators are cold at the top — what does that mean?
Usually trapped air in the system. Bleeding the radiators often fixes it, and it is something many homeowners can do themselves. If they cool again quickly, or if system pressure keeps dropping, there is likely a leak or an expansion tank problem worth having looked at.
Why is my boiler losing pressure?
Pressure that keeps falling points to a leak somewhere in the loop, a failing pressure relief valve, or a waterlogged expansion tank. Topping it up repeatedly treats the symptom. We find the actual cause.
What is that banging or kettling noise from my boiler?
Kettling is usually scale buildup on the heat exchanger causing water to boil in spots where it should not. Banging in the pipes is often trapped air or thermal expansion. Neither is an emergency on its own, but both are worth diagnosing before they worsen.
Do you service radiant and in-floor heating?
Yes. We service hydronic and radiant systems including in-floor tubing, manifolds, zone valves, and circulator pumps, for both residential and commercial buildings.
How often should a boiler be serviced?
Annually, before the heating season. Service covers combustion, pressure, the expansion tank, circulator pumps, zone valves, safety controls, and venting.
Do you handle boiler replacements?
Yes, including converting older systems to modern high-efficiency condensing boilers. We will walk you through what the existing piping and venting will and won't support before you commit to anything.
